Its so bad in the UK, If I even SEE a Mega bloks/construx call of duty/halo set, even if its overpriced or a sub-theme I'm not interested in, my heart skips a beat, I recently found three old figure packs in a Toy master, for £5.99 each, I thought I had died and gone to heaven, I haven't seen anything fresh in the bigger towns around me since mid 2015, and MEGA stopped distributing in late 2016 in the UK :(

Why MEGA? Why? (Thank the lord for eBay UK, theres rarely a good deal on there..)

Yeah same. If I can use it I usually buy it.

Can Mega not sell sets Online here in the UK if it isn't being stocked in shops ?
We need a solution to this here in the UK or Mega will disappear completely ; Toys R Us is the only place that stocks them and even then they hardly have anything in stock, and the future isn't looking too good for them.

What is the demographic of people buying Mega Construx/Bloks?
I believe they have a fantastic product and a genius USP but I just don't know what their mass market would be.
Call of Duty and Halo I understand. Destiny OK... but to a lesser degree.
Master of the Universe? Great figures but who are they for? When was the last MOTU series/film/whatever. If it's for people who remember the original then are there enough of those still buying toys?
Lets say MOTU is on a shelf in Toys R Us in the UK... which kids will want it? How many parents will say "You know I might just buy those for myself". It might be different in the US/Canada but I don't think there is the market in the UK.
Picard? I know Star Trek is eternal but when did STNG last air? 25 years ago?
I see 5 potential areas or combinations...
1) Cater for the big kids who still love their toys, have some disposal income. i.e. continue as normal.
2) Find another big computer game or comic license : Fallout? Fortnite? <edit> 2000AD - Dredd, Strontium Dog, Rogue Trooper, Halo Jones?????)
3) Find a film/TV franchise that deserves fantastic figures : Hunger Games? Westworld? Bond? (OK the cost might be prohibitive)
4) 'Traditional' genres : Horror : Dracula, Mummy, Wolfman etc. Westerns (might be tricky).
5) The punt : Create a universe with their own characters. No idea what genre it would be but...
The thing is all of these would either need to be sold online or in specialist 'comic' shops.
When it comes to Toy Shops they just don't fit or can't compete with [competitor].
I haven't thought this through very much so there are going to be HUGE holes in my suggestions... but it's late and I am desperate to still be able to buy products I care about from a company I admire.

Yep that's basically what's wrong with mega. Shops aren't stocking it overseas. You can't just really on the North American Continent for business. Focus on the ENTIRE WORLD and you should be fine.

For sure. If Mega expand internationally a bit more, then they'll make so much more money. At least give it a go with the new second-wave 2018 sets.

I agree mostly, I'd love to see Mega take on a License that took them into a new Stratosphere of success. I do think Fallout and Skyrim would be popular , I'd love to see Lord of the Rings too (new film and TV series in the works but does a certain competitor have the license still ?) .Also Game of Thrones but maybe that's a bit too adult I don't know. The DC superheroes that Mattel already has would be good, but conflict with a certain other company I guess.
The others would be great, 2000 AD especially, but maybe too niche.
Anyway I'd like to know why Mega died out in the UK when it was seemingly present in a lot of places

As far as I know Europe didn't do anything mean to Mega Construx, but they still hate us. :(

I feel ya, I love Halo so much, but over here (UK) the Hero figures cost around £13, the 5 figure battle packs are £30 and you can forget about the vehicles. I wouldn't mind buying from the US, but everything is too expensive, I was looking at the set with Taurus, but it's £143.68 for the item itself, then £22 postage plus £44 import charge, It's a pisstake!

In Russia there are no or very few sets. And ordering from another country is very expensive.
