How will the closure of Montreal Mfg. affect Mega?

Very sad to hear that Mattel will be closing the Montreal manufacturing facility, laying off nearly 600 employees, and moving all Mega manufacturing out of Canada... how will this affect those of you still at the Montreal headquarters and the production of future Mega Construx figures and sets?

I was doing a stock market activity for economics, and Mattel looked promising so I “invested.” Suffice it to say I’m selling my shares now and cutting my losses.

I interpreted the news differently. It said the manufacturing would be transitioned out of Canada, but the design folks would remain.

JPMorgan expects turnaround for Mattel
In making the call, analyst Tami Zakaria points to Mattel's realigned management team, topline turning off sales momentum in Barbie and Hot Wheels and visible margin drivers.
"We believe the US toy industry can return to better growth in 2020 after consecutive years of declines primarily driven by the Toys R Us bankruptcy," notes Zakaria on a broader look."
