A scarab was waiting right around the corner for them. It shot it's beam at the warthog but it missed. Out in the distance was a pelican heading towards them. It was constantly lowering. The driver decided to put his magnum on the gas pedal and jumped on the top of the warthog.
Driver"Let's hitch a ride boys!"

Suddenly the scarab turned around and shot it's plasma beam at the pelican.......... and it went down.

The ODSTs got back in the warthog, just to find the scarab charging it's beam, aiming straight at them!
