My first set was the blue flame marine and bronze elite pilot (from series 1?) closely followed by the arctic rocket hog, Arctic wolverine, Gen 1 banshee and Arctic ODST Sniper Specialist

Yeah! I have the figs. Like Iron Man, Spider-Man, another Spider Man, World of War craft stuff, Havoc, and a TON of extremely old UNSC figs and Covenant figs!

First set was the Covenant Strike set. Came with a troop transport Warthog, 1 mark IV spartan, 2 marines, 2 elites, 2 Brute's and 2 tiny grunts. Was an awesome first set because it came with so many figures. This set is not listed on the website for some reason. Mine was missing a few parts but I was able to improvise with some of the spares.

I still have this set and all the figures.

My first set i got was back in summer 2012 when i got a ODST drop pod set (and my only) it may be my first set i owned but it not my first time building one though. In the summer of 2012 i was build with my step brother then i came across stash of figures and i was asking is "this [competitor]?" he said no it's mega bloks. I start building the sets like artic warthog, v1 wraith, v1 spade and gremlin set
After done building, i start giving halo another try after getting raged because my step brother was being a douche lol

It got me to like halo again, when i got back home from virgina trip in 2013, i was searching and i came across Goodwill Hunter's custom build (i thought it was a set for a sec lol) and i got me to start building custom too
At first i try cloning his custom build like Cobra,AA wraith and Scarab (never got good progress because dont have the set it need lol) but i decide to just do the one i could build.
My first custom i actually done was a halo 3 troop transport (not great but a start), then i got hooked and this is the begining of custom building :)

Then 2014, i start doing doing bigger builds as my collection start getting bigger but not great,but in April i came across VinceHoffman builds, love it about as much as Goodwill Hunter. In late 2014, Vince gave me advice on how to make a better customs than what i can do before, then by 2015, I recieved a scarab set, I decide to gave Vince advice a try then my custom skills got A LOT better because i now got enough pieces to go bigger and better builds

Then here it is 2016, even though the builds in 2013-2014 ain't great, i still like viewing the older builds in my private album, hopefully there may be some "family reunion" with some quick and easy builds from 2013 and 2014

Space Blok Bot is what kicked it off, followed by sets from the Dragons lines.

I actually didn't just get one first set. I learned about Mega Blocks Halo looking for Halo [competitor]'s lol. I finally decided on getting a $200 combination of sets (Vulture, WarthogV1, Red Vs Blue Blue Scout, Mantis, Halo Booster Pack, Reap-x humming bird, and Skirmisher vs Spade) and I love all of them!! Thank you Mega Blocks for bringing Mega Blocks Halo into my life.
