I haven’t played Halo 5 for yonks. Actually thinking about it I haven’t played a single Halo game since September 6ish. However back on track I used to always have lag problems in custom games menus and lobbies.

I don't have any problems with the menus.

Does anyone else have a lot of problems with halo 5’s menus in the lag department?
I do, but I always attributed it to the Internet connectivity issues I have.

It’s never let me login, so I’ve never really bothered to play it.

You have been saved from a lackluster experience

Well, multiplayer is pretty good, aside from the thrusters.

Here we go again Part 1

"Sub-light engaged. ETA to atmosphere: 31 minutes."

"Thank you ZARRY."

The captain looked through the viewport of the ship's central control.
The United Nargoian Galaxies emblem was proudly painted on the prow of the merchant ship.
They'd been at lightspeed for months and now that they were at sub-light, time seemed insufferably slow.
PAE engines weren't particularly fast multi-galactic travel, but they got the job done.

He grabbed his cup of grupera and chugged it down whilst observing the slowly emerging planet.
The sunlight reflected off of the bow and cast the reflection if the rays into the Infinite void of space.

"ETA to atmosphere: 15 minutes."

ZARRY was the multi-purpose AI network used by all Nargoian electronics.
They were connected to the civilian network, and he knew from the sets of his military service, that the Military network was much more advanced and capable.

"Warning. Warning. Warning: large unidentified space craft in proximity."

The captain swung his chair around to face the radar, surprised.
There weren't supposed to be any other UNG ships in the area...
But no one said aliens were out of the picture.
He watched in confusion as a gigantic purple vessel appeared, a design he'd never encountered before.
As he looked on in shock, a beam charged up in the alien vessel and shot out suddenly, cleanly shredding through the merchant ship and cutting it abruptly in half, only to be followed by another from a different direction.
And another.
The ship's systems failed and power shutdown as the reactor was hit, exploding.
The Captain closed his eyes, still bewildered, as the fireball engulfed him.

"We lost contact with the Ardent Dawn at 0952 hours, standard Nargo time, sir."

"That's the third civilian vessel in five months. The colony has gone silent too.
I want the nearest fleet on site in the next two months."

"Yes, sir."

I still have candy! I must preserve the Last Twix for years! Also, the Festival of the Lost doesn’t end until the 19th, I think.
