Sam radioed in the other ships.
Sam- Alpha knows of a new team who specialise in alien and flood kills. He says their leader goes by Jason. Spartan A397, expert in Marksman classes of firearms. Signature weapon DMR. His team consists of him, 3 other Spartan soldiers and a heavy combat ODST. Last known location was the prodominantly sepratist grunt inhabited moon around Beta-Sigma. A planet near that of which held the Terrogen insident years ago.
Vex- the insurgent Marine force? The ones the spartans had to take out?
Sam- yes. Its on the way. He should be aboard a Covenant CAS class Supercarrier. We should move in and hail him on the way.
Kendra- thats a plan. Lets jump their.
Sam- sounds good, Alpha, Echo, prepare the jump.
Z19- Eisenhower warming up.
Shawn- Divinty ready to go.
Jane- set and ready to go on your mark Quadrant.
Kendra- Azure ready.
J85- Devils Bounty ready to activate slipspace.
Sam- okay, 3,2,1, Jump.
All the ships other than J85's spacejumped. J85 fired the slipspace engines and Devils bounty too dissapeared into deep space.
Only the stars were left to illuminate what remained.

As history has shown us, among other things, the death of one great story inevitably leads to the birth of another.
I have the feeling that this particular story has, indeed, met its end. However, I do most certainly hold in great value the very real belief that, while things may change, our heroes will find themselves in a new novel to come.
An unwritten law that resides within the very universe; Nothing truly has a beginning, nor truly shall it ever end.
