Im tired to see how the sets are reduced and reduced and reduced. One day they have 5 figures and the other just 4, and other good day you have some scenario pieces and now just a branch. All at the same price. The Bike and the "Legends: Checkpoint Charge" Set its insulting, 2 pieces one motorcicle and a Letrine House with a post? At that pice? I used to buy several ieces of the same set as Ghost because of the Terrain and construction pieces, and now, you only have figures, Even the new figures sets are worthy to buy several sets because of the great machineguns on them, why? Because the lack of pieces, to get just a new machine gun you will get alot of figures that you allready have, no terrain no pieces that worth to buy. Guys seriously, if you keep going like this you will lose.

We feel your pain. But we still love MCX.

Have you noticed the higher quality pieces?

Still, they are quite lacking, now. Fireteams need more scenery, at least a turret 2-3 terrain pieces that aren't stands, a shield or barcaide and two other scenery stuff, like plants or crates.

While this is disappointing, I'm not sure that it's entirely Mega's fault. These changes occurred when Mattel purchased the company, so it may not have been Mega's decision.

Also, while we get less pieces, the quality is undeniably better. A lot of the earlier Mega set would fall apart if you breathed on them too hard, but the newer bricks have far better grip, clutch power, etc. The figures are also more detailed - most of them have emblems and decals painted onto their armour, and so on.

Pieces are Better? Yes But just some sets, Halo, COD, Pro Builders, HAve you realize that Mega uses 2 kinds of plastic? If you buy Turtles sets or another sets you will realize that some pieces are more soft and different palstic. I like the new quality, but In the personal I prefere a rise in prices and get pieces for MOCs than a low in pieces and just get a bunch of soldiers. What is the point of an excelent quality on 5 bricks 2x2 on the "Legends: Winter Heroes" If I cant build a thing with that. They dont release more scenarios like the Caeteria, and they dont sale, COD or halo like bricks or terrains. If they do as they sale now theirs Boxes of just pieces, something different would be. But no, They now sell just figures and alot of little vehicles like Motorcicles.

Mega Bloks its a Brick Building Sistem Toy, not just Figures. Without Bricks to build, the concept disappears. If [competitor] fabricates bricks in COD like colors, ok I would buy [competitor] and just Mega figures. In fact if Mega don't do something, People who build things, will have to buy from others brands to make our MOCs.

If that's your mindset, then, quite simply, you're just buying the wrong types of sets. The CoD and Halo troop packs are specifically for massing large quantities of figures, the inclusion of terrain is just a courtesy. If you look back through a lot of classic Mega lines, they used to release their figure packs without any terrain or baseplates or stands. In addition, the CoD, Destiny, and Halo lines are actually marketed as "Collector" lines, not as "building toys". Brick-building isn't the core concept of these sets at all, they're all about the figures.

If you're looking for bricks/terrain, then you should be buying the larger, more expensive sets, with the bigger, more complex builds... not figure packs. Things like the Call of Duty dome, and the Halo Firebase are great for this, and can often be found at half price or better at a lot of online retailers.

We all know these larger sets are hard to find but it also seems over the years its been drifting farther away from large sets.

However if your like me you will know that finding a place to put these figures gets harder and harder.
